Why does the US gov't spend billions fighting marijuana yet turn a blind eye to other beneficial herbal meds?
Why does the US gov't spend billions fighting marijuana production/usage and yet turn a blind eye to other beneficial herbal "supplements" (FDA will not approve them)?
Because elected representatives take large amounts of money from insurance and pharmaceutical companies.
It is generally assumed that you work for the ones who pay you.
