What does the John Mayer backstage pass for the 2010 tour look like?
Anyone that has been to one of his concerts on the Battle Studies tour, do you know what the backstage pass looks like?
I am trying to buy one off someone, but i want to make sure its a real backstage pass.
There are FOUR ways to get a backstage pass....
1) You must know someone connected with the tour, more
like a relative that works for the concert. Or, if you are lucky have
a friend in school or a neighbor that has a relative that works
for the concert.
2) Be a news reporter. You would have to be one connected
to your local newspaper or local TV news team.
3) A local radio station will sometime have a backstage pass
of the concert and offer it as a promotional prize.
Either you have to be the 7th or 10th caller.
Or answer the right question on the air.
Or hope that the entry form you filled out gets picked out
in a drawing.
4) Sometimes a person will have one and will sell it
on EBAY online auction or Craigslist.org and EXPECT to
pay REALLY BIG DOLLARS (like hundreds or thousands) for it.
Those are the ONLY WAY you will get a backstage pass.

ALSO, as for knowing what a backstage looks likes....
It varies from city to city, depending on the location like
the arena or the auditorium the concert is being held at
as well as dates.
Some scam artists will get an old backstage pass from
an old concert. After doing a little of the
Photo-shop or computer scan modification of the old
backstage pass.
Then try to sell it to an unfortunate desperate fan for money.
Then when the fan gets to the arena, finds out it is a fake.
Example:
Fan:
I have a backstage pass...
Concert Guard:
Hmmm...I sorry this is not the backstage for this concert.
Fan:
What do you mean?? It has the concert date which is today.
It has the place listed which is this area? The time and
logo, etc.
It says, it is a backstage pass.
Concert Guard:
Well, the logo is correct, except it has the wrong
color scheme on it.
Date, Time is correct expect it has a different type
of lettering font. And a couple of other little things.
This looks likes a modified version of the concert that
was done at the Nashville event about a month ago.
Sorry, it looks like somebody got a hold of an old
backstage pass from another concert and modified it
to try to pass it for one at this concert.
