How can I not look like a homeless woman?
Yesterday I got mistaken for a homeless woman. This resulted in some harassment so I would like to avoid this in the future. I only wear a pair of hiking boots and a pair of sandals. I don't own any other shoes, and I have no interest in buying anymore. I wear really beaten up, men's jeans that are cuffed up, but I try to make them look cool by adding band patches and embroidering smiley faces on it. I wear band and graphic t-shirts. I take showers and wear clean clothing. Even my worn jeans are always clean and have no stains. I even wear rose oil as perfume. I don't wear makeup, but I have henna painted hands. I am thin-ish, but not underweight, and I'm pretty healthy.
If you don't want to look like a homeless woman then you need to be open to new things. Having no interest in buying any other shoes isn't going to get you anywhere. If you're not willing to change you can't expect change.
Buy some ballet flats, sneakers (Converse or Raben), a NEW pair of WOMAN'S jeans, singlet tops with nice female coats, skirts, leggings...style options for women are endless. Look in your local department store and ask for help.
