I have that EXACT same dilemma. i do not want my daughter to to be involved in things that i was not involved in when i was young, and i DEFINITELY do not want her to steal the spotlight from me. For example, we perform onstage sometimes, and she becomes such a stage hog that i feel like pushing her off of the stage to her doom and then continuing the song. I do love her, but she just can never be better than me! Good luck!
