Copyright issue on personal photography of famous band?
Hello there! I love photography, and took some amazing photos at the last concert I went to of some world famous bands. The shots look very professional, and I know they would sell if I had them made into poster format. My question is the copyright on this issue, if I sell them since they are of a band that I did not ask permission from, will there be an issue? Or no, since it is my original photography, and at a public concert. I live in Ontario Canada if that changes any legal issues, and the band is from America (but played the concert in Canada). Also if there will not be an issue, how might I go about selling such a thing? Would it be possible to sell it to cd stores such as HMV, or to a poster company? Or would I be more limited to just online (ebay, kijiji) or from a personal website. Thank you in advance for answering these questions, I really appreciate it!
