Can you get in trouble with the police for beeping your car horn in the morning? Like one beep?
Our neighbor wrote us a little note concerning about our beeping in the morning because apparently it disturbs him. This is about 5.30am in the morning. I would understand if we did it a lot that but it's like one quick beep. Also i wouldn't have cared if he didn't leave the racist remark on the note. I won't repeat what he said but basically we were inconsiderate and ignorant because of our nationality. Also he threatened to call the police if we didn't stop hence the original question. Sorry for the wall of text. Any suggestion or advice would be welcomed.
disturbing the peace is one thing your doing
the other would be the unnessary honking of your horn. Using your car horn to tell someone your there is illegal. you can get ticketed for it. The only reason you should honk your horn is to keep someone from walking in front of your car....or someone driving isn't paying attention and is about to get into an accident. ITS FOR EMERGENCIES ONLY
Plus just because you think its just one little honk, what about the babies that are sleeping? what about the kids that get woke up easy and cant get back to sleep? what about the adults that don't have to get up for another hour that gets woke up by you being an ass?
think about someone other then yourself and NOT get bitchy about someone complaing about YOUR being inconsiderate
