Why do people think because I'm an atheist I'm anti-religion?
I'm Buddhist..Why would I be anti-religion if I'm apart of one?
I honestly find theism cute, or at least interesting to learn about.
The stories remind of fairy tales, folklores and..Well, sometimes, things your parents tell you to make you feel better.
I don't get the stereotype.
Because almost everyone has been raised Christian or some kind of popular mainstream theist religion So, they treat it as fact not as opinion. Then, the cycle goes on and on with their children. So, when someone breaks away from Christianity, Islam, or even Judaism , anything of that matter, nobody understands them. So, they persecute. Because, sometimes, its easier to persecute then to understand.
