Where can I get a small photo retouched and resized with a much larger, without looking bad!?

I want to do a format Pocket smaller photo ... bigger than a piece of paper so I can frame it. Walgreen tried to do that, but it came out so bad! it has everything white because it was so tense. I need help! I want to give it away as a birthday memorable and I do not know where I can go! Please and thank you!

So what do you zoom? Is this your original digital file that is small and that you try to expand? If yes, then it will be almost impossible to get any sort of good quality at all try to enlarge it. You could get up to 5 x 7 size, but larger would be difficult. I do not know what "bigger than a piece of paper" is the extent size exactly is involved? If you're talking about scanning a photo portfolio size itself, you might have better luck. It depends on the quality of the scanner used and the resolution at which the image is scanned. You'll need at least an analysis of 600 ppi, preferably more, in order to enlarge image much larger than its original size. But even with the scan quality, scan printing is never as good as a scan from the original negative, or using a large high-quality digital file. Walgreens is hardly the place to try to this. You need to work with a lab PRO PHOTO. steve
