What is a good air freshener for my kitchen?
It is kind of funny, but the smell of my kitchen bothers me. I have tried putting Bath and Body Works Wallflowers in there, but it just doesn't seem to work. Can anyone recommend their favorite air freshener? Maybe one that I don't have to plug in or spray. Thanks!
Is there a bad odor in your kitchen? If so, eliminate the source of the odor and you won't be offended anymore. My kitchen had a funky smell a few days ago. Your sink drains will accumulate odors over time and this was my problem. To fix it, I poured A LOT of baking soda down each of my sinks drains then poured a lot of plain white vinegar over the baking soda. Pour a little vinegar at a time because the baking soda/vinegar combo will create a lot of fizzling foam but it is not harmful. Let this sit overnight then rinse out each drain with really hot water. Your drains will smell very fresh and will eliminate the source of any bad odor. If you have a food disposal, throw in a lemon to freshen the disposal. Both the baking soda/vinegar and chopped up lemon are very safe, natural solutions. If your sink drain is not the issue, place a bowl of plain white vinegar on your counter. It will as a deodorizer without making your kitchen smell like a salad!! LOL I got tired of spending money on expensive candles, cleaners, sprays, etc. Once I discovered the simple miracle of baking soda and vinegar my house smells a lot fresher (and doesn't smell so overly-perfumed!).
