Band Concert
How many people are in a normal concert band?
i'd like to start a concert band where we play fun music and then hold a charity concert to raise money for cancer research. finding people is not the problem, but knowing how many on each instrument i need would be deeply appreciated so that we don't have eight trombones and a bassoon or something weird like that. thanks!!! In a good concert band has about 50. If you have good players, then I would say 5 on each instrument. Make sure you have a couple extra percussionists, however, because there is a large variety of instruments in that one section.
