When a pasta salad calls for vinegar, it is best to use white or cider?
Cool Cucumber Pasta Salad 16 ounces pasta corkscrew cucumbers 2 medium, peeled and shredded or juilenned 1 medium onion, sliced 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1 1 / 2 cups sugar 1 cup water 3 / 4 cup vinegar 1 tablespoon dry mustard 1 tsp tablespoon parsley flakes 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon pepper 1 / 2 teaspoon garlic salt Cook pasta al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water. Drain. Stir in cucumber, onion and vegetable oil. Mix all remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour over the pasta mix. Cover and refrigerate for 3-4 hours before serving. Return Kansas Cafe
