Hard Disk LED Doesnt Blink & No Display But The Pc Is Working ?
in one of my pc's when i turn on the power the processor fan and system fans starts to run however im getting no display to the monitor (not through onboard vga or the seperate agp vga) and both the power led and the hd leds stays on , the hd led doesnt blink anymore as it used to be before . what seems to be the problem ?
Do you not even get to the boot screen? If so, you might either have a problem with the mboard or the link between PC and monitor. If the latter your PC might be booting but you cannot see it. As a first step see if you can get your hands on another lead for the monitor, or better yet try a different one altogether.
The PC will boot from the BIOS initially, so should see something if it is working at all. What you have described would happen if the motherboard was defective, as power would be drawn but the board's BIOS would not boot to initiate start up.
