How can you play the keyboard in a metal band Black?
I play the keyboard for about a year now, I'm self taught. My friend told me recently asked to play keyboard in his black metal band. I know how to play complete songs and stuff, but wtf do I play in a band with all other instruments?
It depends exactly what the group wants, black metal though, I would use an organ sound, though not pure black metal, Your friend probably wants to sound gothic, synth sounds would be better in a group of black industrial metal. In a gothic metal band of all, you'd probably play some parts on your own solos, usually at the beginning or end, to help build-up/break the song, so he would not return provided outside the start or end of the song perfectly.
