How long does a newborn baby be declared dead if they stopped breathing?
I'm just curious because i died when i was a newborn and i want to know how long i was legally dead for before he brought me back to life like how long do you guys think i was dead for? i'm just curious k thanks for you answers =)
You have to be dead, without pulse or any chance of recovery to be called dead, the term refers to the actual and complete ceasing of life in the body, the brain stops function, the heart stops and all electrical activity stops.
You likely were not legally dead by any stretch or means of the imagination, possibly just an over exaggeration by family would make it seem so but it is not so.
To be dead and legally mind you, body functions would cease for 20 minutes, in this time every effort would have been made to revive, and every effort would fail. It obviously did not and I am sure in the span of 8 minutes you came back to life and started breathing.
Because in 8 minutes the body passes a point where you lose 10% chance of revival every minute past.
So just be glad you did not die.
