My computer has news reports and random music playing without me having anything open, why?
I am on the computer and when i turn on my speakers random music from opera to country to rock is playing. i have no internet, no lime wire, no itunes or AIM open. absolutely nothing. news reports from barack obama to hillary clinton's senate seat are playing in the back ground, just the sound. its driving me crazy! what is causing this?? what can i do??
I had that when using my Mum's computer and it turned out to be a program in the sidebar that came with the OEM windows vista install. If you are using vista check the sidebar, it can sometimes be used to play videos. If its not that try ending processes using task manager, however if you don't know what your doing be prepared to restart a lot because a lot are needed for the computer to run.
