Do I have an alright range?
I'm a freshman in highschool and we checked our ranges in our voice lessons this week. I had from a low G(below the scale) to a high B(the one not on the scale, it's above it) Look at this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/36840577@N02/5068519172/ ...But my choir director has me as a 2nd soprano, which I like, but it means I don't sing particularly high or low...So..range. Good, bad? She also said I have a 'sweet voice' but 'we're going to make it come out more' what in the world did she mean?
Nice range, it's a good distance. By making it come out more, she probably means projection and becoming more powerful. You make have a very pretty and smooth voice, but it could be quiet and unable to fill up a room. This is just a guess, I can't tell unless I hear you for real.
