How can I paint flames, and put metal flake on my car? Is it really do-able by an amateur...?

I have a compressor. What tools do I need and how can I find out the techniques for painting flames on my car?
This is a huge undertaking, as all metal paints are permanent. You can get the flames and effects you desire with an airbrush, which requires a lot of practice. There are many websites available that will give you step by step instructions, but only God can give you the talent to pull it off. If you already have this gift, then kudos to you!! If you don't, you should start looking for a professional.
